Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of the online escape-room experiences offered by Simply Creative Escapes ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing or playing, you agree to these Terms.

The service

• We provide real-time, browser-based multiplayer escape-room games hosted on our servers.
• Each purchase creates one private game room for a single playthrough. Everyone you invite joins free — no separate purchase or account is required for players.
• You need a compatible device (laptop, desktop, tablet, or mobile), a modern web browser, and a stable internet connection to play.

Eligibility and age

• You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a game. By buying, you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into these Terms.
• Our games can be enjoyed by families and younger players, but a game must be bought and hosted by an adult, who is responsible for any minors they invite to play.
• The service is not directed to children under 13. If children play in a room you host, please supervise them and ask them not to enter personal details (such as real names, email addresses, or contact information) in display names or chat. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle children's data.

Purchases and access

• Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details.
• The moment your payment is confirmed, we email your room code, host link, and instructions. Access is delivered by email, so please provide a valid address at checkout.
• Your game does not expire — you may start it now or whenever you're ready.

One playthrough per purchase

• Each purchase entitles you to a single completed playthrough. Once a game is completed, it cannot be replayed.
• If a game is ended, paused, lost, or times out before completion, you may restart it.

Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, resell, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Be respectful in chat and in-game communication. We may suspend access for abusive behavior.

Payments and refunds

All sales are final. Because access is delivered instantly, no refund is available once a game is started. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.

EU/UK right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. When you buy a game, you expressly request that we begin providing it immediately and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once you start the game (that is, once the escape begins). You confirm this consent by ticking the acknowledgment box at checkout. If you have not yet started your game, you may still contact us to cancel — see our Refund Policy.

Availability and disclaimer

We work hard to keep the service available, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for interruptions caused by your internet connection, device, or browser, or by events outside our reasonable control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
